2009年度《英國偶像》The X-factor 冠軍Joe McElderry的首支單曲──翻唱自電影《漢娜‧蒙塔娜》(Hannah Montana: The Movie)中由麥莉‧塞勒斯(Miley Cyrus)演唱的主題曲“The Climb”，上榜首周，在英國單曲榜遺憾的位居亞軍，而冠軍則被美國老牌說唱金屬樂隊暴力反抗機器(Rage Against The Machine)奪得。所幸，在單曲上榜第二周勇奪冠軍寶座。

來自南方的電子雙人團體3Oh!3去年以單曲「Don't Trust Me」一舉登上了告示牌的第七名成績，也拿到了雙白金認證，今年他們的第二張專輯「Want」改版，收錄和新人凱蒂派芮 Katy Perry合唱的「Starstrukk」版本，強勁的搖滾力道和電子浮粒的跳動，在歌中穿插俏皮的口哨聲，使人不得不聞雞起舞，Katy Perry首次嘗試這種曲風，在歌曲中的Part實在是恰到好處的完美，希望以後能多聽到他唱這款歌；另外Katy在這支MV後半段有濕背秀，非常的性感

若你喜歡上Lady Gaga，那你豈不能錯過這位電音新輩 Ke$ha；今年年初饒舌歌手Flo Rita繼大賣的「Low」後，又帶著他的新單曲「Right Round」挑戰冠軍的週數極限，最後風光蟬連六週冠軍，也因此打開了這位助陣合唱女聲Ke$ha的成名之路，隨後被RCA唱片公司簽下，預計會在明年初發片；在去年的Katy Perry的冠軍單曲「I Kissed A Girl」MV裡，也可以看到她的身影；首支單曲「Tik Tok」首先曝光於"Project Runaway"（絕戰時裝伸展台）第六季的電視廣告曲，大大的增加了Ke$ha的詢問率，而「Tik Tok」就像是Lady Gaga的「Just Dance」一樣，電氣無預警的四處竄流，彷彿隨著電子曲線而擺動，歌詞依然寫照夜店的糜爛生活，追隨著玩樂主義的精神
